Distributes as He wills

1 Corinthians 12:27-31
The body of Christ
God has appointed in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that
miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues

1 Corinthians 13:1-8
Without Love I am nothing
When knowledge passes away only then will prophecies, tongues, vanish away.

1 Corinthians 14:1-6
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, especially to prophesy (this is a command of the
Apostle)
Speaking in tongues is speaking to God
Speaking mysteries in our spirit
Prophesying speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to the assembly
When we prophesy we edify the church
Paul wishes everyone spoke with tongues
But even more that we prophesy

Tongues are a sign to unbelievers
